About us
CABINET ALDERLIESTE is managed by Jan Erik Alderlieste, lawyer (Leiden, Holland) and independent management consultant, since 1995 after a carreer in several well-known international publishers. In 1998 he created a professional and legal real estate journal.
He was born 1961 in Rotterdam, Holland and immigrated into France in 1999 with his family. His passion for French history and French architecture and culture made him decide to become a real estate agent or more over a mediator/consultant in French luxury property. Before he cooperated in France already with well established international realty agencies specialized in the sell of castles manor house and unique French property in the centre, the east and the west of France. With his family he owns a medieval castle. Therefore he knows exactly how to evaluate your property search and is the right person to advice and accompany you, personally and professionally.

We contact our international clients and we will take care of all formalities. As soon as we agree upon the conditions and the evaluation we sign a contract �mandate de vente� and we propose you to be your sole agent. We take care of the negotiations, the preliminary contract, the diagnostics, the notary, the planning permission, the deposit of 10% due by the purchaser, etc. After the seven days cooling off period, we send all documents to the notary or the solicitor and we keep in contact with the notary, with you and with the buyer to avoid surprises and to manage the process. It goes without saying that we will be present at the completion day.
